Oroville Area Childhood Injury
Prevention Project

Our vision is to see the elimination of preventable
injuries and injury related deaths to children and youth ages 0-20 in southern Butte County.

Our goal is to reduce death, disability and cost of child and adolescent injury in southern Butte County through the establishment of a Safe Communities
Injury Prevention Project.

Our objectives:

• To identify key injuries and develop intervention strategies to address these injuries.
• Inform the community about the coalition.
• Develop a method for including stakeholders
