The FEATHER RIVER was named by the Spaniards during their quest for gold. It provides an ever changing picture each minute of the day and every day of the year. Sunrise over the Sierras is awesome and only surpassed by the beautiful moonlit path on the river in the evening. During the day the show varies with heron, egret, swans, ducks, beaver, etc. |
Riverside Bed and Breakfast is located on the Feather River where the old Wells Fargo Stagecoach traveled, creating a feeling of country seclusion. However, the B&B is actually only minutes from the historic town of Oroville, The City of Gold.
Guests can stroll the extensive private waterfront, swim, fish, gold panning, or simply relax on one of the decks or the floating dock.
Cedar and pine rooms with picture windows blend with the natural setting of the river, wide variety of trees shading the acres of lawn and waterfront.
