Once an area where early settlers panned for gold, this three-mile stretch overlooking the Feather River is now popular with walkers, joggers, and bicyclers. It's a serene spot for a picnic, and a chance to commune with Mother Nature.

During Autumn, you can even view one of Mother Nature's life cycles, as the salmon swim upriver to spawn.

A 41 mile bike trail is currently under construction,
