Oroville Internet User's Group

Welcome to the Internet and the World Wide Web. The members of Oroville’s ChoiceNet Connections have formed a group; and as a member of ChoiceNet Connections service, you have a FREE membership in the Oroville Internet User's Group.

Oroville Internet Users Group is a volunteer non-profit organization for Internet users. The purpose is to share knowledge and expertise about the Internet. Most of us were newbies in the beginning and we are still learning. Our goal is to assist help you and to learn more ourself.

Oroville Internet User's Goup meets on the second Tuesday of every month at The Depot Restaurant in Oroville. The meetings include a guest speaker usually on some area of the Internet. After the guest speaker, volunteers host "Table Topics" on different features of the Internet or general computer problems.

The meetings are open to all persons using or interested in the Internet. The meeting is free to subscribers of Oroville’s ChoiceNet Connections Internet Service. A $2.00 admission fee is charged for guests and attendees not using ChoiceNet Connections as their Internet Service Provider. The fee helps cover the cost of hand outs.

Every month you will receive e-mail reminding you about the meeting. If you are not currently receiving email informing you of these meetings, please email us at the address below. So come and join us, meet new people, learn and have fun.
