1.How do I acsess
my email from someone elses computer?
For any computer that has internet access and a browers installed
you can access your cncnet mail. Be sure you are online, open
the browers (netscape or explorer). Then in the section called
"location" for netscape or "address" for explorer
type in "http://www.quikmail.quiknet.com", without the
" marks. You will be asked for a user name and password,
us you cncnet mail user name and password.
3. How do I use instant
messagers?
There are a number of instant messages program today. The two
most comman are AOL or Netscape and MSN or microsoft. In both
cases you will need an user came for the server you plan to use.
They are free and type only a few minutes to setup.
For AOL which comes with Netscrape. Just click on the little yellow guy and select new user. Follow the instruction on the screen, once you have a user name setup there will be more detailed information about how to use the program and find people.
For MSN you will need what is called a "passport", which is really nothing more that having a "hotmail" address. The hotmail address will become your user name and the password was setup when you signed up for hotmail. MNS when installed on your PC, just click on the icon (in system tray most of the time) and then click on sign in. To get a new user or passport, look on the right side of the window and click on the link don't have one, get one here. Follow the instruction. The new hotmail user name becomes you access into MSN message and many other MS services.
